How Gotyu works day to day.
Does Gotyu drain the phone battery?
No. Gotyu uses the phone's own motion detection and only turns on precise GPS while you're moving. At home or at work it barely uses any.
Can I pause my location whenever I want?
Yes. Inside the app, in one tap: "Pause for 1 hour" or turn sharing off. Whoever sees you is seen by you, and whoever turns it off is shown as off, never as if they were still there.
Can people in one circle see the members of my other circles?
No. Every circle is closed: people in your family circle don't see your work circle, and vice versa.
Does the app work when travelling abroad?
Yes. Wherever the phone has internet, your position keeps being shared with your circle.
